Not something I really wanted to explore in this blog. I've had just about enough of the talking heads as is. But unfortunately I had to "De-Friend" someone who made a post I found offensive. I unfriended someone today for a reason I feel a bit guilty for. She calls her husband her Master and herself a slave...but her attitude towards him just makes me cringe...it's very much all about her her her. As much as I respect everyone's right to chose a title and make it fit their relationship as works best for them....I just have to draw the line at friending people that don't think slavery should include basics like respect and service that isn't always on their own terms.

I get so....embarrassed I guess, whenever I read her kinky posts. Partially because it makes me feel snobby that I feel the way I do and partially because I just can't stomach that kind of mememe attitude in someone who holds claims to being a slave.

I've also unfriended two people in the past that were actually very well liked and respected in both LJ and the kink community online. I found both of them to be very abrasive and just plain bitchy. I didn't enjoy reading them, so I finally just removed them from my list. I figure if I'm not enjoying the people I read...it's no longer MY journal if I allow them to stay there.

Sometimes you just have to know where to draw the line. I've never had much time or patience with people who want to spend the entire day bitch fighting over every little issue, so I generally avoid these frays.
