so i bought a new ipod. a 30gig photo which has been discontinued and i got it at a discount.
problem:
i still have a good condition, 3rd generation, 15 gig ipod that has suffered battery failure. i love her dearly as i prefer her entirely touch sensitive design and illuminated buttons to the inconvenient click-wheel.
she just doesn't quite hold all my music (even though she holds more music than anyone could possibly listen to in even a week let alone a day) and i decided that instead of waiting for battery replacement and getting fatter while not going to the gym due to lack of something to plug my headphones into, that i would spring for a new colorful ipod.
but my old ipod will still work excellently if she has a new battery and i would like to maybe sell her to someone who will love her as i have.
she will come with a black iskin case and she still has her original earbud headphones which i have never used due to awkward ear piercings that prevent me from wearing earbuds.
i will obviously have someone replace the battery so she is in working order before i sell her (unless someone really wanted to buy her as is and replace the battery on his or her own).
have you wanted an ipod for a while but been unable to afford a $300 gadget? if so, this post is ALL ABOUT YOU. my unfortunately unnamed ipod is a loving little piece of electronics who will treat you well if you treat her well.
i am leaving my new photo ipod unopened to see if the old one generates any interest. if she does, i will crack open my new one and put it to use. if nobody seems to be interested, i will return the new one (as good a deal as it was) and replace the battery in my old ipod for myself. she cannot go unused and unloved. it wouldn't be fair to her. besides, she has the all touch sensitive design with the illuminated buttons which i greatly prefer to the pain in the ass click wheel. i love it, how can you not?
help a sister out. give a sweet, fantastic ipod a home.
as sad as i would be to give her away, i would love to see someone else enjoy her.
