happy father's day
its been a frustrating weekend. I had to shop for my friend's baby shower. It was somewhat fun but somewhat frustrating because I couldn't find anything that was on her list. except for onesies. and I couldn't just get her that. but finalyl after hours of searhing I settled on a nice set of bibs, some sleepers, a closet set and a little stuffed giraffe. It was cute. It was nice to see Bethany again. I'm glad she's having a baby. I want one now. Its funny to hear myself say that because my attitude towards kids isn't that positive. don't get me wrong, they're adorable. But I guess those brats that throw temper tantrums in the mall just really piss me off. My baby won't do that!
Anyways, thats a long way off.
It's Father's day. Who the heck came up with these annoying holidays? I mean it was Daddy's b-day like last month. How much can you buy for a grown man? not to mention my dad doesn't fish, golf, or do anything that would make it east for us to find something for him. how many ties can I buy him? If he liked to golf, I could get him a nice set of clubs. but oh no, what does he want? a fender guitar.what for? to go with his amp. well, he got it. And it made his day. not mine though b/c i was trying to practice upstairs in my room and I could hear his guitar blasting throughout the house. He's not in a rock band, really. hes not. he just likes guitars and he likes to play for himself and himself only. well I'm glad he's happy. however, come next year I really won't know what to get him.
