nothing is too wonderful to be true.
i guess it's time for an update... since i am currently waiting for degrassi to come on.
going home was really nice and i hope to make it back one more time before the end of the summer, but it all depends on if i can find enough covers for my shifts at work to allow me to go. i guess we'll see.
my apartment is wonderful. although, i have been so lazy with buying stuff for my room... so i still need a tv and a chair for my desk. but apparently i'm surviving without them right now. it'll get done eventually.
summer is definitely here and it pretty much blows. i have become a little more accustomed to the humidity, but my room is like an oven in the morning. fortunately, the air conditioner i bought is being installed soon... so i just have to wait a little while longer.
my summer class, manhattan movie experience, is amazing. the teacher is absolutely brilliant. he's so weird and random, but he really knows his stuff. i could listen to him talk for hours. plus, how could you hate a class where you watch movies like sweet home alabama? good stuff.
i'm in the market for a second job since i can't pick up any more shifts with my job now. i've been searching around and hopefully i'll be able to find something soon so that i can make enough to make rent.
thanks to carly, degrassi runs my life. haha. it's kind of sick how it just sucks you in. but it's so good. ahhh... degrassi.
the tony's were neither disappointing nor satisfying. quite happy that norbert won for best actor since i thought he was genius in dirty rotten, but pretty surprised with spamalot taking the big one. oh well. maybe i'll be more involved in seeing the shows next season.
can i just say how pissed off i am at myself because i knew about 25th annual putnam county spelling bee when it first opened off-broadway and did not get a chance to see it then... and now that it has been nominated for a tony, everybody and their mother knows about it so now it will be that much harder to get tickets? whew. okay, just needed to get that off my chest.
