my dear johnny, avenue q won't be the same without you.
just got back from johnny's last performance in avenue q. he was incredible, as always.
watching him cry during his final bow was absolutely heartbreaking; i almost started crying myself. i'm glad that he made a short speech at the end, made for a nice sense of closure.
i didn't do stage door afterward, as i have been horribly sick for the past couple of days and had barely gathered up enough energy to make it to the performance. it's okay though, i already got an autograph and a picture with him the week before at his ad-liberty show. :)
