I sure did miss swinging.

Today I left the safety of my computer and ventured to Vlads where I grabbed a truck load of comic books I've been meaning to read. I found out later from Dorian that I should have went on Wednesday though, so I could actually you know, get all the ones I wanted. So after a long day of installing Conan, which Jackson is not the night time show ( Read more... )

comic books, park, dorian, vlads

I've been to Vlad's a couple of times. Not really that interested, though. Most of the stuff I read was in my brother's collection.

You took a whole day installin' a game? Man, that shit's gonna eat your brain cells.

I think you've been spendin' too much time around Batboy. What does he do all night, jerk off to Batman? Anyway, most parties happen at night, but if you ever need anything in that vein, I tend to have a good idea of what's up. My school email's jlcatherwood@truant.edu.

Well they have the comic books and Vlad even started a tab for me when I don't have the cash. He was really nice about it. And I'm not lucky enough to have a brother with a stash lol.

Yeah, hell it was 20 gigs before unpacking the torrent and it became 27 gigs after! It's beyond epic, the graphics.. lord. I can't even begin to explain how banger they are!

Well yeah, he's a good friend. Why wouldn't I spend time with him, he's fun to be around! And..dude I so don't want to think about what you just said. I don't care what he does in the sanity of his coffin.

Thank's, mines alexandervbielefeld@truant.edu, and that'd be pretty cool if I could come with you to one. I need more friends.

Well, me neither, anymore. Most of the stuff I read was... late 90's, I guess? I ain't read a whole lot since.

God damn, you might as well get a separate computer just to play that game.

Uh, so don't. You're the only one in control of your brain, buddy. I mean, I guess he's fun to hang around, if you haven't showered in a week an' wanna feel cleaner.

I was thinking about throwing a party on my hall when people start movin' in for summer semester. :) Getting to know you mixer and all. You're welcome to come!

90's stuff is pretty decent, a lot of good things came out of the 90's yanno?

I know. Hense why I have a laptop and a desktop computer, I'm no ones idiot.

You're the one that PUT the image there, so thanks a lot mate. And why don't you like Dorian anyway? You're always bagging on him, and he's really nice.

Really? Alright! I'll be there!

The 90's is by far one of my favorite decade. Seeing how so far it's the only one I've been alive for all of.

I only have a laptop. Makes movin' around as much as I do easier.

Any time. Seriously, you ain't the one gettin' called weeabo or whatever by him when you didn't even do anything. I'm not the one... what did you say you were doin'? Playing with anime figures?

It's not for a couple weeks yet, but I'll email a reminder when it's close.

I'm kinda parsal to the 80's and 90's myself. I wasn't alive for most of the 80's or anything but I still love the music.

Yeah, well I figured to game I'd need a hardcore gaming desktop and for school a laptop so I could run around with it. Don't want the school one bogged down.

Hey. They're pretty awesome anime figures. But yeah, I can understand that. But he just likes the way the word sounds so I wouldn't take it personal.

Thanks again Jackson.

Now, as far as music goes, I think the 70's was the best. Come on, Lynyrd Skynyrd, AC/DC, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin... you can't get any better than that.

Makes sense, if you play a lotta games, I guess. I don't. I download a lot of music, but I burn CDs and shit so my laptop runs just fine.

Yeah, well, maybe I like the way the words that I say about him sound when they come out of my mouth! Really man, that's bullshit.

No prob.

Oh man. I love American 70's music, but of course as predictable as it is I also love the Rolling Stones and The Beatles.

I play a lot of games since I don't get out of my room a whole lot. I was hoping College might change that.

Yeah.. maybe I can talk to him about not calling you one?

Skynyrd is actually the only American band I listed, weirdo. :P AC/DC is Australian, the Stones and Zep are English. And the Beatles are okay, I like their stuff that's more like rock than the pop.

Well, you know, the best way to make friends is to get out there. You'll probably make friends in classes, but going to student events (and no, I don't mean parties when I say that LOL), joining clubs, stuff like that's a great way to meet people. Don't be afraid to put yourself out there.

If you want, man.

I had no idea that AC/DC was Australian. Learn something new everyday, eh?

Afraid is the correct term on that, I'm so shy it isn't even funny. So I'm scared I'll be the kid in the back of class just sitting there in the darkness hahaha. I'm exaggerating but you know what I mean. I'm trying, I mean I'm talking to you and I've been trying to be friendly with people when I meet them. I wonder what clubs are around?

Yeah, I don't want people fighting. It seems silly.

Guess so. I love classic rock. :)

Well, you know, funny thing about that is more often than not a lot of kids who go here are the same as you, because they were like... scared or bein' judged for being different or whatever. So the student organizations try really hard to do stuff to make everyone feel welcome and at home. :) There's a directory on the website, I think, but anyone can make a club so what's on there changes a lot.

Lately I've been trying to get in to popular American music, but I can't seem to wrap my brain around some of it.

Seriously? I could see that. A lot of us come from the same kinda background, well not the same but most of us were out casted most of our lives I'd think. But I could just be stereotyping, sorry mate. It's really nice that they go out of their way, I might have to look in to some clubs on the directory.

Is that why you're listening to Usher? LOL. Well, you gotta understand. Me and my friends back home used to to go Miami for fun. The club scene there is great. I'm pretty up on recent music, but I'd rather dance to that shit than listen to it for fun.

No, I think that's actually pretty accurate. Go for it. I'm not in any clubs, besides being on the staff of the school newspaper, but I think I'm social enough without any help, dont'cha think?

Yeah that would explain the Usher on my iTunes right now. Miami? Where is that? What state? I just moved to America like... a few months ago.

Yeah I see you around with people all the time actually.

Miami is a huge city in Florida, where I'm from. Sorry, I keep forgettin' you're British.

LOL, you "see me around with people all the time"? What're you doing, stalkin' me? If you see me, don't be afraid to go up and say hi! I don't bite, man.

Oh. Florida is like near the bottom of America right? Where their's a lot of beaches? Must be nice living there.

I don't STALK you I just happen to be there but I thought I'd be bothering you if I like just called out and waved like a moron or something. And I certainly hope you don't bite.
