I don't know what has gotten into me but I am writing again, and I think I am doing a decent job after my break I had. Let me know what you think.

When you step inside from the cold
Sometimes it just doesn’t seem like it should
When what you get what you want
Sometimes it doesn’t make you feel like you thought it would

Some days just seem so dark and desolate
And even on a breezy summer’s day
What is the worth in it?
If just live your life in regret

Please, if you could
If you may
Hold on just a little tighter
Tonight just might be
As gloomy as the last
But tomorrow could be brighter

There just might be
Some reality in prosperity
When you break down the walls
And persevere with longevity

These nights,
I know they must feel so cold
But if I may,
As to be so bold
I must say
There just might be,
A reason
To take the time to see
The changing season
Because everything isn’t gone
Even when
Everything feels so wrong
It’ll only be now and again. . .

So please, if you could
If I may
Hold on just a little longer
