The beauty of doing a random act of kindness to a complete stranger, not waiting for anything in return.
For those who know me, there are things about me that go beyond my own world and giving myself to help those who need is certainly a feature that describes me a lot.
Why I chose The Random Acts? Because I know that they can change and inspire people to do a simple act of kindness or maybe, something huge but that for some, is just a simple thing. Helping someone else who is in need isn't just a simple thing, it's something huge: you're giving part of yourself, putting your energy and effort and you're not expecting anything in return.
That's why I decided that, for my birthday this year, I'd do a fundraiser.
Some might say that $50 is too little, but I know how hard the economy is, not just here in Brazil, but everywhere. $50 dollars can buy homeless people warme meals, socks, gloves, scarves (the winter is coming for those who live in the North); it can buy toys or art supplies for kids, $50 dollars can do a lot. I don't know if I'll reach my target, but I ask you, if you have a spare dollar, I'm willing to accept it to make a difference.

PS.: yekith just told me that Click&Act doesn't accept Paypal donations, so, I created a paypal Fundraiser and all the money will be directed to the original fundraise. :)
