Party Poison, in my mind, isn't Gerard but Party Poison has Gerard in him, you know?
Interesting that you mentioned that. I think fandom still has a hard time separating the Killjoys from MCR. I dont blame them. If you think about it, MCR now has something like three visages: themselves (actual MCR), the Killjoys and the Mad Gear and Missile Kids band (which Im assuming they're impersonating on stage or at least they might, at some point), but it's fucking up a bit with the whole mythology they've created. *shrugs*
I like your concept of the Killjoys' purpose. It's really interesting! And probably what Gerard is going with, but, personally? I think I rather it was a little less heroic, a little less noble and more survival. Like, they would'nt have time to try and create awareness to the other survivors/rebels bc they'd be so busy trying to make it through the days, BUT. Dr. Death Defying decides to broadcast their adventures like radio-novelas, know what I mean? And they become this sort of underground war heroes whose image bring hope to whoever's also trying to make it through the day, but it's not their intention. Nor do they have time to nurture that image.
Does that make sense? lol
Btw, I totally agree with the war thing. Nice thinking, Cherri Bomb!
Funny thing: i can't see the Killjoys as the guys from MyChem at all. I can see similarities between them but it's not them - they're just being bad actors and i'm loving it!
Said that, i want to know about them all too, their backgrounds, what made them join the resistance and what they're expecting to achieve with their fight.
