Life's more painless for the brainless...

It seems I may have done a leetle bit too much of late. I slept for fourteen hours or so and I've had a couple of naps since getting up. Well, waking up - today is blatantly another pyjama-day & there possibly needs to be an early night. But never mind? I mean, I still have some voice, so it is not that bad... That reminds me: I have an appointment to see a speech therapist at the start of September. Sadly for me, apparently I have to have a camera poked down my throat to examine my vocal chords again. And as I think Mr ENT-consultant was wanting to play that game again when I see him for a review at the end of Septmber. Bah...

I have not been entirely lazy-unproductive since I got up... I have sorted through/tidied lots of stuff in my bedroom & recycled an awful lot of things that were lurking surreptitiously. I have also put on a load of washing. And looked at the kitlist for camp again. I looked at it quite hard and then decided that I might need to be slightly less squiggle-brained to actually make any kind of plan that might involve things like packing... Mmm. I am v excited about camp. Oui. However, I do need to make some kind of cunning plan as I am going to the seaside tomorrow and have a Brownie planning meeting on Wednesday night and I am going up to Rosie's on Thursday (I really need to work out train times) and then camp is on Friday. I have also realised that I am a bit lacking on the black/blue short front as last year's stuff really does not fit at all & I suspect safety-pinning it smaller might end badly (for example with me impaling myself on a safety-pin)...

Daddy is going to appear at some point this afternoon. I have not seen him for aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaages... He wants to measure my wardrobe as he is thinking of snaffling it. I wonder if he's planning to change the handles as at the moment the door handles are little white bulb-like ones with a bunny & a bird on... I also need to ask him about some things to do with the great redecorating project - and try to find a time when he'll be able to take me to Ikea to get my new chest of drawers, as he's said he'll take me. I am so looking forward to my room being finished. It will be so splendid. And so tidy...

Am yet again listening to the Wicked! soundtrack. Possibly it has reached the point of being an actual obsession, but I am not convinced of this. However, I am considering asking daddy if he'd like to go and see it with me. Which should be amusing even if nothing else...
