Stick around, I mean, something interesting might happen sometime...

Good grief but it is warm out. And indeed in, for that matter. I strolled up to Blackheath to pay some money into the Brownie Bank Account & almost melted before I got there. The woman serving me managed to miscount the amount because she kept losing coins & indeed notes as she was counting. Genius.

I then got the bus down to Lewisham & went to get my fringe trimmed. Well, I say "trimmed" - I've lost a couple of inches and am now able to see again... I bopped back down the High Street & looked at pretty blouses in Peacocks but they never seem to have a size 8 in anything so looking was all I did.

I walked home, opened my post (am leaving the 4CaST nominations until I actually have time to consider them properly, but we do not have a PC to discuss them scheduled yet so I think I am safe for now) and put the junk mail into the recycling box. I think that flyering should be banned. It is a waste of paper. And very annoying. Everyone should embrace the joy of the interweb instead, ooh yes...

So far this afternoon I have: done my washing up; put on a load of washing; put away the clean washing; sorted my bag for Brownies tonight; tidied my Guide-stuff that lives in my room; put things away into my 4 box; written up the evaluation from the 4 session Jess & I did with the Guides the other week & sent a copy to Jess; and decided I cannot really pack my bag for my trip to Scotland until tonight/tomorrow morning.

I am quite looking forward to the Annual Event, but having to leave home at half six in the morning in order to get there does not really inspire me. Must buy Diet Coke later... I am also planning to reread "Girls Shout Out" to try and familiarise myself with the key findings and stats and things. Joyous. On the plus side, I julie_rmh is collecting me from the event and not only do I get to see her, I am then going up to Kirkcaldy to stay with closethepiano. So huzzah, frankly. I am a little sad to have to miss my Guides getting their BP presented this evening, but I cannot stick about for Guides tonight with the weekend of jaunting that lies ahead...
