Could we please all be impressed that I did not buy any pyjamas...

Went to the library today. Now have more books. *strokes books* Did not go to Sainsbury's, but am not (yet) on brink of starvation so this is not a disastre.

Went to Lewisham to look for something for somebody for Christmas. Went round ten different shops comparing and contrasting and generally panicking, but was eventually successful. Am keeping the receipt though in case they hate and loathe what I have got them. It could happen...

Exercise class was interesting. Physio was mystified by different healing rates of knees (could be any of various random reasons) but possibly more perturbed by the muscles round my hips, which, as is to be expected, are a bit unusual. Or, as she put it while she was twisting my leg into the air at a highly unnatural angle: "very stretchy". Maybe I should just have lied and said that I could feel the stretch... Or not... But yes "very stretchy hips" which is a bit of a strange mental image.

After the class I came home and had a shower on put on my jammies and then lazed about and read. Talked to the ickle squib on the phone for a bit - very excited about seeing her tomorrow: huzzah. Had pasta with exciting mushroom sauce for dinner, which was rather scrummy. Then (because I am a good girl) I spent some time writing a think about forthcoming peer education basic trainings to go into the next Senior Section electronic update and sent it to the staff member responsible. Before the deadline - get me...
