Yes, so, today. I went and bought things for my 4 session and finished my preparation for that (including packing my 60 litre rucksack...). I also worked on a top-secret Christmas-being-nice project. Mwahaha.
Getting to Dragon Hall was interesting, given the rucksack and the dark. But it was managed and I in fact meet a small horde of people and we collected the spoon with keys (huzzah) and went forth again. It is a quite remarkably secure venue. A bit like doing 4 in a prison might be. Or, you know, not... We had nine participants and four In4mers (genius) and I think, generally speaking, it went quite well.
We had a Madhatter's tea party for ice-breaking purposes, followed by the making of wonderful posters about peer education, and a true or false on 4. Then we played "Me Too!" (well, I didn't play that one, owing to the knee situation) and after that did a thinkshower on why people choose to drink; played peer pressure in a jar and had sweeties; did a could you?/should you?/would you?; and finished off with a nice self-esteem boosting circle. The evaluation all seemed quite good (from a quick glance) and my Senior Section Advisor was enthused, which is always good.
So yes, huzzah for 4. And for spending Portman Group money. Because that is always a fun game...
