Today there was sleep and then Waiting For God and some housework and things. There was also much Guiding-organising-stuff.
Then there was going to CHQ and buying pink badges and a Seasons badge, but being foiled on a quest for Entertainer Badges (alas but not quite woe - mindless custard).
After this there was dinner in Wagamamas and more socks (stripy and long) came into my life but then there was Haagen Dasz raspberry sorbet, with sprinkles. And my sprinkles were mocked but I can only assume this was jealousy of the very worst kind.
*bounces and leaps* And then there was the immense excitement of The History Boys and there was much giggling and some thinking (but not much) and a little shuddering: "What is History?" = HAP = mwarghle. Personally, I think I prefered the play. And I know that I rate Forty Years On over both, as it makes me laugh ever such a lot. It is the bit with the rugby captain. And indeed moments like: "When society has to resort to the lavatory for humour, the writing is on the wall..." But yes, it was very good. And now I almost want to be back in Cambridge. Perhaps I should sit and read my alumni magazine thing that came yesterday... Or, you know, not. (I am still amused by the idea of being an alumna. It sounds so terribly impressive. Almost like being a proper grown-up).
