Imagine if every Thursday your shoes exploded if you tied them the usual way...
Today I replied to my letters from Rosie, Kitty & Eleanor, and sent on a letter for Chloë. I went to the library to change my books and am now part-way through (and very much enjoying) Provincial Daughter which is by the daughter of the person who wrote Diary of a Provincial Lady. Vair amusant. I also went to Sainsbury's, which was mercifully quiet. On the job front, I started another application. Things here not exactly riveting.
Guiding-wise, there was excitement over the advent of a paying-in book & cheque book for the Brownie account. There was a (mildly panicked) email to the rest of my leadership team requesting they bring pictures of people smiling to Friday's meeting. There was also a phonecall from a Brownie mummy to let me know her daughter will not be present on Friday, but will be at Mass on Sunday. Nice Brownie mummy...
