Does historical time move at different speeds...?

Once this morning's exam was safely out of the way and I had allowed myself some time to flop about doing-nothing I went and bought food. And a book (from Oxfam...) And some chocolate for the Jennie. I also got some deep freeze gel from Boots to try and get my wrist to behave. While in Boots I ended up having a random conversation with a random bloke about tubigrip. Obviously he was suffering from exam-induced social-interaction-deprivation. I saw him again in Sainsbury's, and he updated me on the Tubigrip situation. It was slightly surreal...

I got back to college and went across to Jennie's to return her deep freeze gel and give her her chocolate. It was a little before three. Just after six I looked at my watch. I surprised myself... Yes, yes I did... Had tea in the Buttery with Helen-the-Theologian, and Besty, Katie, Lucy and Jo. I had salad with a roll, because the vegetarian option was pizza and the potatoes had butter on. *sighs*

So here I am, once more doing nothing. I did my washing up earlier though, so I am feeling almost virtuous. Ooh, and I have Frosties for breakfast, because I decided that my diet clearly needed some sugary-rubbish first thing in the morning. Possibly mixed with my muesli. Mmm. Muesli. With yoghurt. Mmm.

shiny people, exams, spurny body, food
