On the plus side, she LIKES the smell of coconut, so it is all okay. She also brought me my Christmas present - it is a BEAUTIFUL cross-stitched giraffe. It is so fine & the Rosie is very clever.
It is the good thing the Rosie is very clever, as we made a swiss roll this afternoon. It IS recognisable as such. And the Rosie and I are very proud. And possibly need badges. And indeed stars. *nods* It is good to know we can rise above being scullery maids. If you put us both together you might have almost enough for a Victorian-style cook... or a kitchen maid, at the very least...
I am also now the proud owner of "miffi yn yr ysbyty"... Miffy has a sore throat. And she gets a nurse doll. We are not ENTIRELY certain what happens in the bit in the middle, but working this out can keep me amused while I convalesce. The temptation to take it into hospital with me IS quite high... Especially as I have just had a phonecall to check I am still coming & to remind me about not eating/drinking & taking a dressing gown and my slippers with me... sadly he did not remind me about the hibiscrub: unlike
katie__pillar who sent me a card SPECIALLY. With a hibiscrub advert in it & EVERYTHING...
I have just been patted. Which should at least save the rest of you the bother...
