And then the porridge went KABOOM...

ENTRY BY THE IMAGINARY GIRAFFE...

I woke up by FAR the earliest this morning. And I did not jump on anybody, even though it was most tempting. Especially because the z-bed might have folded up on Marie...

There was porridge-with-golden-syrup for breakfast this morning. Obviously, had I been allowed to be in charge, it would NOT have gone sploot ALL over the inside of the microwave. But never mind. It still tasted yummy.

Then after breakfast & (more) chatting we went to the Fitzwilliam Museum. And I made sure all shoelaces were firmly done up before we went in. There were lots of old things. And paintings. And I thought some of the illuminated manuscripts were very nice because I am a classy giraffe *nods*

After we had looked all round the museum we went back to college & the Xanthe collected her post & then we all went to Gardie's for lunch & then shopping. It was lots of fun. It is a shame the Xanthe didn't buy the lilac skirt. She thought the little traily ribbons might get annoying. I am not sure what would be annoying about being tied up on the whim of a giraffe, but humans are funny creatures... There was also some coveting of t-shirts in GAP. They were very pretty. Even I was coveting slightly, and I am a Giraffe to whom these affairs are of little consequence.

Before coming back to college there was a trip to Sainsburys for MORE porridge. But then the Marie had to go home. This is a BAD thing. And the Xanthe is very sleepy. *pats the Xanthe* And still quite woggly really. Yes.

shopping, random, the exceptional fineness of marie, giraffe, museumy goodness
