Well, it isn't raining...
Up nice and early this morning in the interests of changing my linen & checking my emails before bopping off to supervision.
I was VERY early this morning, despite a detour, so I sat and had a happy time in the pink corridor, scribbling all over the Addictions topic pack draft. I was also working on it on the bus on the way to supervision, so I am not sure all my comments are legible, but never mind...
My essay was not poo. Not at all. Quite the reverse in fact, so we had a splendid supervision... Including:
[weird rumbly noise from somewhere in Girton]
Xanthe: *jumps and looks panicked*
Ben: It's just the College dinosaur...
I mean... *complificated noise* mind you, we had had the following earlier on:
Ben: let me just tell you where my brain is on this
Xanthe: I sincerely hope it is inside your skull
Ben: *laughs* (quite hard)
It's nice to be supervised by someone so... human...
The independent health food shop is being refitted at the moment, so it is currently lurking in a VERY small space a bit further down Bridge Street. And they didn't seem to have what I was after. Sainsbury's, for once, however, did. Bonus. I am currently coveting some very pretty dresses in the window of Monsoon. I mean, I need to start thinking about May Balls *nods* *lesigh*
I have a load of washing on and so am procrastinating a bit while I wait for it to finish... I will then start work on reading for this week's essay, although I am waiting for an updated reading list. Bleh. The constant round of working could get a bit soul-destroying really. But it is okay. Diet Coke will see me through. (Er, and God, obviously. Diet Coke and God. Yes. More God than Diet Coke. But Diet Coke is still good.)
We have a Brownie Planning Meeting tonight (as it is half term, so no ACTUAL Brownie meeting) which is being combined with a meal at Heather's... (Heather is the OTHER Snowy Owl *nods*) So I've only got about two hours, in which I really need to do some work. Work work work. On the plus side, I do not have to change Lenin's tie...
