Well, today got off to an unpromising start when I awoke at four o'clock and had to search my bedroom. Yes. Because being sane is not something that works for me at that time...
My essay was torturous & I don't think it actually made any kind of thing even approaching sense. It was also quite short. But never mind - I got it done and handed in before I went to Mass. Mass was enlivened by the person doing the first reading pronouncing "Nineveh" as "Ninnyway" - put me rather in mind of AMND - *giggles* - she had a spectacularly thick Dutch accent, which I presume was responsible for that one...
I went to brunch today as well & sat and chatted with some second year historians. Always fun. Sat with them again at dinner & had something that might even be mistaken for an intelligent conversation *looks suitably shocked*
However, the absolute BEST bit of today was Betsy's pudding-party to celebrate her 21st birthday - and not just because of the very VERY scrummy dairy-free sticky toffee pudding *sighs happily* I'd got Betsy a copy of "Miffy in Hospital" (she is a medic) and some Finding Nemo lollies & there was much excitement about this, which was good. There was lots of happy-gossipy-chatting and it was really nice to relax a bit after a somewhat manic week.
