There's a voice behind Nathan that belongs to a body he can't see. "I would be a bit more discreet."

Nathan jumps about a foot. He whirls around to smack whoever sneaked up behind him but is met with empty space. It takes him a moment to realize what is going on and when he does he scowls.

"Would you PLEASE not do that?!"

Simon neither agrees nor disagrees, but he remains invisible. "I need to learn how to best control my powers."

"Well, go practice on someone else!"

"You're the only one who's here."

[breaks4grannies]

"There must be some universe you could practice in that isn't mine!"

[theydidnothing]

"That isn't how it works. If it were an alternate universe you and I wouldn't have powers."

[breaks4grannies]

"How do you know that?! Are you suddenly the expert on all things weird and fucked up. Wait - never mind."

[theydidnothing]

"It might help if you did a bit of research. There are a lot of full volume comic collections at the library."

"Well, maybe next time I feel like being a complete geek I'll get right on that."

"You would have something to do while at the Community Center by yourself."

Nathan glares at Simon. "Are you always so helpful?"

[theydidnothing]

He's glaring in the wrong direction. Simon is still invisible and pacing a bit in the agora. "You came here to ask for suggestions." He sounds slightly apologetic.

The voice moves and Nathan jerks his head in the direction of the voice. "Would you just turn back to... yourself or whatever?"

"I will if you promise to research." Simon puts on his shaky I'm-standing-up-to-you voice.

"You want me... to promise... to read comic books...?"
