There are many sights and sounds to take in all about Xanadu, with shops and libraries and hideaways in every corner, from the fields to the carnival to the ever-changing sky and relocating watering holes. This particular establishment is not any more or less fantastic or mundane than anything else in the city-between-worlds; it is a bar and lounge, catering to the cigar-and-brandy types but rarely used by any. It has vibrant and unique decor (with an optional musician), places to relax and play. The lighting is dim to further the atmosphere, and while there is no kitchen aside from a fridge in the back to augment the full service bar, the Thai place next door is very content supplementing its business by delivering directly to patrons inside.
Because there isn't anything more or less fantastic or mundane about this place, it's a prime location for an easy layover of chance - even powers beyond the comprehension of man have to update their software sometimes, and such is the case for the field that permits teleportation via PINpoints. A brief system upgrade, please hold and suddenly you find yourself in this unassuming but not without personality establishment. At least you'll have company.
