Standing in the middle of one of Xanadu's city streets is a young man with rigid posture, wide eyes, and a camera phone. Despite the movement going on around him he remains in one place and holds up his phone to document his new surroundings in video. It's different here, not nearly as busy as back home and Simon is amazed that no one has yet objected to him taking their picture.

Then again, he's not sure what he would say should that happen.
