If multiversal hubs would like to evolve, that's fine - it seems charmingly adolescent, to go from sprawling madness to a proper (if still sprawling and quite mad) city. 'Look at how grown up I am, I have street signs!' Yes, charming, teenagerlike, growing pleasantly and not setting anyone's house on fire or engaging in twisted political subterfuge or plotting to kill their classmates. Perfectly normal!
