Nazca liked the Nexus better when her visits were visits, and not a residency. Also, when they were voluntary.
She's spent a few weeks experimenting with the various pleasures of the carnival, the agora, and the various bars and taverns available. Nothing (except running into a sole familiar face) has been incredibly arresting so far.
More out of boredom, then, than any hope of a real answer, Nazca goes to the agora to pose her question.
"What do you do when your life is over but you find yourself... still more or less alive?"
Frankly, she'd expected the afterlife to be much more pleasurable, or much less. Who ever heard of an afterlife where one still needed optics, in the first place?
"How do you start entirely over, from scratch?"
