From Chicago to Xanadu in a Second

There were few things that shocked Karrin anymore. This probably came from being friends with a wizard and working with him on a frequent basis. You either learned to accept the weird, strange, and down-right insane or you went nuts yourself. Karrin had adapted to the strangeness over time and was much stronger for it.

However, that didn't mean she had to like it when she suddenly found herself off the streets of Chicago and on the streets of some strange place. She stood very still for a moment, having to blink a few times to make sure she wasn't hallucinating. No, this place was very much real and it wasn't disappearing. Karrin reached up and felt her gun safely secured and hidden in its holster under her jacket and immediately felt (at least a little) better. She wanted to blame Dresden for this, but something told her he had nothing to do with it. He'd been through too much the past few days to have anything to do with this.

No, she'd have to look elsewhere for answers, especially since the wizard was no where in sight. Karrin rolled her shoulders, took a deep breath, and walked further into the strange city.

{ooc: I forgot to mention, this Karrin is post-Change, so there might be spoilers mentioned...but I'll try to keep them minimal)
