spring pt. 2
The release party for Y.A.C.H.T.'s "I Believe In You. Your Magic Is Real." Okay, so after we got back from Big Sur, we find out Jona is holding his cd release party....on a yacht!! We paid $21 and got to cruise on the Crystal Dolphin from near OMSI, down Willemette River, and back for 3 hours, got a free cd, and got to go to an afterparty at Disjecta. It was amazing. I don't want to put it into words how I felt because I was ecstatic. um.. literally and figuratively. We bummed a ride to the afterparty atop Rob Walmart's van. The inside was filled with instruments, the roof was dented from previous joyrides. Rob was wearing a gold mask, giving thumbs up and proceeded to ghost ride the whip through the warehouse district. Someone had given out balloons, and someone let go of my gold ring balloon as I climbed up. Laying on the hood, looking at the sky, I spotted it way way far away It was about as big as these letters. Asher used the word paradise. It's true, it was very special. So I leave you to looksee:
