$1000 in car repairs. Just what I was NOT looking forward to when I brought the car in for a flat tire and said they could also check out "that rattling sound it makes when it's cold."
sigh. at least this should set us up for a long time; timing belt/etc. is apparently the big hit with a Honda at about 100,000 mi or ten years, and I'm just a touch past both.
