Just found out that this year I'm getting a 2.9% raise. Nothing amazing, but with the economy as it is.... Upper level management didn't get raises at all. Hopefully it'll be just enough more per pay period that we break even on the rise in health insurance costs; we were down a bit on this last paycheck (which didn't yet include the raise).
I keep reading economic news and being sure it's just going to get worse. The only good thing about not having much money is that we don't have any investments to lose.
