night of leprosy
Fuck! so we went to play this show tonight at Section 8 all the way out on Pembina, and we get out there only to find out that they wont let us play since im underage. Fucking bullshit! I'm a month away from being 18, I don't drink, and we fucking played a bar show last night! at a more popular bar! At least we had our video camera and were able to tape them being complete moronish assholes, as well as us telling them to fuck off, us getting thrown out, and Ari pissing all over the door. ohh Ari, what would we do without him.
anyway, the show last night was a lot of fun. For the first time in my show playing history, i wasn't nervouse. I think it had to do with the fact that we were wearing a costume of garbage bags, no pants, bullet belts, and bandanas. I figured that walking onto stage looking like that, absolutly no one would have any expectations of us, so i wasn't self concious in the least bit. Funny how i feel less self concious wearing a garbage bag. I also didn't fuck up nearly as much as I usually do, make no mistake, i still fucked up lots, but just not as much. Overall, I had a excellent time.
I'm really upset about this show. I'm having so much fun in this band, and Andy's leaving soon, so i just want to get in as many shows as one possible can. hopefully we'll get to play Robbies, and maybe another show with the creepy kids some later date.
i guess my rant is at an end.
