So I was cleaning out the nifty LeSportsac messenger bag that I use for school today and lookie at what I found! (You can click on it to make it bigger.)

Yes, you read that correctly. Scientology, the religion of Tom Cruise, Will Smith, John Travolta, and the Beckhams, has found its way to lil ol USF. I guess I had gotten the paper in passing to a class and stuffed it my bag without really looking at it. Good thing, too, otherwise I might have laughed at the person who gave it to me. I'm sorry, but I don't consider something based off of the works of a science-fiction writer to be a true religion. No offense to those who DO practice it; what may work for one person may not work for everyone else and, granted, Scientology has helped a rather decent amount of people, but still. The mere mention of the religion make my friends and I lolz.

Here's my nifty bag for those curious:

By the way, because I just feel like it, I did something that I remember talking to turkeyish about. I don't remember when, exactly, but I remember her mentioning that she had considered writing a story out of order, depending on what point in the story she felt like writing about at the time, and then putting the thing together like a jigsaw. Well, I had a semi-strange dream a couple of nights ago that, well, inspired me to write it out. Basically, I skipped ahead in the time line for Theories on How Danger Finds Us since I've had the story planned out since the beginning 'cause when I woke up the next morning I couldn't help thinking that the events of the dream would fit so perfectly with Theories. (This will probably be the only time I'll have a Stephenie Meyers moment.) I haven't written the entire chapter out yet, hell, I don't even know what chapter it would be, but I've decided to post some of what I've written, taking out the one little spoiler bit:

I always felt that until the end of time, or until I was pestered enough to cave in, the details of mine and Draco’s first time would be one of my life’s greatest secrets. And I can tell you that any preconceived notions you may have about the Sex in Question will be wrong. I’m even ashamed to say that my well thought-out, sort of easily tested theory on the proportion between the amount two people hate each other and how mind-blowing the sex is wasn’t even applicable to us.

It was nothing that neither Draco nor I were expecting, but just so appropriate, so fitting to how we felt about each other that any other situation I could have conjured up with the part of my imagination addicted to romance novels didn’t come close to my adoration for the actual act.

I guess this could be called “caving in”, but it’s a part of my story and, therefore, I feel obligated to share.

Pansy, my dear compatriot and former roommate, you have won the bet. Blaise, do Pansy the favour of giving her the money the next time all of us get together. Frankly, though, I’m surprised Draco didn’t tell Blaise the details as soon as he got back to their room.

Prior to that, it was just a series of fumbling groping sessions in either my room or his and some heavy snogging. We didn’t think of what was going on between us as an actual “relationship” because it wasn’t. That entire year we had this tension between us that we were too afraid to explore, regardless of how comfortable we felt around each other. Sometimes, I want to thank the war and especially what Draco had to go through because if not, then I don’t think I would be with him today.

But the day that we decided to have sex, actually going through with it wasn’t really on either of our minds (I know it wasn’t on mine and Draco could be lying to me just to placate me, so for story-telling purposes, I’ll keep the term plural).

So I happened to look to the side of my screen just now and what advertisement do I see that LJ has bestowed upon me? THE OFFICIAL TOM CRUISE WEBSITE. I see what you did there, LJ. Coincidence? I think not, LJ. I think not.
