It was only I and she
Now everywhere I go I go
A shadow follows me

My shadow comes, might kill me now
Might take me as I sleep
Might run away and then one day
Beside me once more creep
My shadow follows everywhere
And it’s a crying shame:
It would kill me any time it could
But I won’t do the same

I know she’s nothing, nowhere now
So far away, so near
Wish I could just forget, forget
My shadow just won't disappear
