I'm a terrible person. I know this. I'll recap this story from the beginning.
I was sitting in my room, as always, and I hear my dogs barking, so therefore, I assume someone is at the door. So, I go out to answer it, only to realize, hey, they're no longer at my front door, it's some old lady now in my house. Hrm, I think to myself, perhaps this is someone my parents know, as they do plan on selling the house, and this is just an very old realtor. No, she's not. She begins playing with my dogs, as I stare at her awkwardly.
"I didn't wake you up, did I?" She queries. "No no, I've been up for hours," I reply. "Oh, okay." That ends that exchange as she continues playing with my dogs. Then, she throws her jacket on the floor and attempts to encourage the dogs to lay down on it. "I'm going to sit down," she states, and I remain silent, letting her find a seat. She doesn't sit in it though, she just looks at it. Then, she looks back towards the door, muttering something about finding out where she is. "Should I leave my jacket? I've got plenty at home," she states, as she starts walking back towards the door. "No, it's alright, take it with you." I begin helping her pick up her jacket, and handing it to her. All the while, my dogs were jumping on her, vying for her attention. "It's okay," she says, "they know me." I know they do. As she begins leaving, she thanks me for the tea and beer.
At the time I found this incredibly humorous, but in retrospect, it's pretty damn sad. Ah well. Walker should be along soon, helping her on her way.
