Was I wrong?

Could it be that D'arcy (which apparently is the correct spelling his his canadian-irish name) actually has a brain and some artificial version of a heart? OKAY. So he wasn't that bad this time. I don't hate him. I just have a strong dislike for him on certain issues that involve him.

And no, I don't like him because of his money. I actually dislike him for it.The kid has grown up going on fun little vacations to London and Rome and Africa- all with his happy little childhood friends. He is getting interviews with ESPN and the Rangers. He's going to go to Yale or Columbia, all because he's some big Canadian football star. And he doesn't even realize how lucky he is, I think. I mean, it just annoys me. He goes to a good highschool and he's going to go to a good college all because he's got money. My dad did all that stuff on his own without that sort of privelage. He went to Styvesant and he worked for four years and then got into binghampton and worked for another four years (though he had more fun in college than in highschool). My dad had to start his own business and work his way up to where he is now. He resolved not to have a boss telling him what to do for the rest of his life. The only one who orders my dad around is him. He made his own sucess.

It's just.. ugh. I'm grateful for what I have. People may not think I am but I really am. I'm grateful for alot of stuff- my parents and my siblings and the life that I have with them and D'arcy doesn't realize how more than half of America will never have the opportunity of going farther than the boundries of their town or state- let alone a different country.

D'arcy had been to every continent except one. The boy has been to the North Pole.

Why can't he just stay in Canada?
