Day 0
Move day.
The drive was graceously uneventful. We left for the interstate around 7:30am and arrived at the house around 3:45pm. All my stuff was in the house by 5:30 and my dad left about a half hour later headed for home. Not even 10 minutes later Karina was over and within an hour, so was Heather with her just-purchased-today '04 Civic Si.
The remainder of the night was rather uneventful. Vikki made us watch her latest creation: Tweedz - a stoner flick about zombies. An amusing tale, but not quite my cup of tea. I always expect more comedy than anything from stoner flicks, but for her first film beyond 10 minutes long, it wasn't bad at all. Ate Zaxby's chicken for the first time, which I completely fucked up ordering so it wasn't much surprise when I got a non-cajun chicken club. Still, not bad for a fast food chicken joint.
I picked Rain up from work since the Equinox is in no condition to drive. Nothing too serious, just a kind-of blonde moment brought on by GM's weird symbolizing which resulted in a hydro-locked engine. It'll take time and a lot of elbow grease but I'm confident I'll get the truck running again soon.
I went to bed shortly after picking Rain up, the move after a night of maybe 4 hours sleep left me plenty exhausted.
