Nothing of true interest is happening at the moment, but in the interests of posting something, I'll say what has been happening.
About a month ago, my 1.5tb hdd died. This drive has most of my precious data on it. I have a backup strategy, but haven't had the means to implement it yet.
Anyway! I found a technical solution in the form of a sata/ide to usb adapter, so I was able to plug it in and see all my crap and copy it over to a new 2tb hdd.
Trouble is that I have to copy this crap over the intranet. 1.5 terabytes in a USB to USB interface across ethernet is like watching flies fuck. o.O Its been a week and Im a little over half way done. lol
