Ever since school has started I haven't had the time or the strength to get online to blog, so here goes nothing:
Form5 doesn't feel any different from form4, maybe because its still the 2nd/3rd week.
I've successfully learnt to treat the kitties of their infectionness all by myself. [not as gross as it sounds really]
I'm not having any difficulties in my sciences or math... for now.
LIVERPOOL VS LUTON 3RD ROUND REPLAY. 5-0 BABY! :D Babel, Hyypia with a Stevie hattrick :D I was hoping for a goal from XABI again ^^ Goal from own half, rings any bells? :D SO we'll be facing Havant. :)
My fakepod battery life is better now, for some reason.
Taare Zameen Par was such a beautiful movie, I think I was choking through the whole first half. Aaja Nachle wasn't bad too. :) Watched a kazabalillion movies in the last week of the holidays, I can't recall all of them right now. :/
Oh and, beautifully written by a fellow Liverpudlian-at-heart -
Fan (person) - is someone who has an intense, occasionally overwhelming liking of a sporting club, person, group of persons.
that's what wikipedia says. but do you want to know what being a fan really means?
A fan is someone who loves a team unconditionally, despite it's flaws, because of it's flaws. A fan is someone who sees the mistakes, criticises it, but doesnt condemn it. A fan is someone who will never entertain the thought of abandoning their team.
A fan watches their team play to a drab nil-nil draw, and shakes their head is dismay and disgust, but all the while carrying the hope that come May, they will lift the cup. A fan wakes up at 2.30 in the morning, irregardless of the long day of work ahead, to cheer on their team as they play some no-hoppers in France. A fan laughs during the good times, cries during the bad times, and have undying faith and loyalty to this one institution that has seen them through years.
A fan is an eternal optimist.
I've seen exciting 3-3 draws that still resulted in us being out of the Champions League. I've watched numerous disappointing performances, but even more fantastic ones. I've watched us lose 6-3 and 3-1 in a week at Anfield - the lowest i've been as a Liverpool fan. But I've also watched us beat Chelsea twice to get to the final. I've shouted myself hoarse. I've been reduced to tears. I've been given days when absolutely nothing could seem wrong in the world after a 8-0 win. They've given me days when I'm at the top of the world, and days when I'm left wondering who are the idiots that are leading my club.
It's not always easy being a fan. People thing you're mad. Sometimes, you think that you're mad.
But as long as there is a Liverpool Football Club, no one else will have my love.
