Yes, it's that time of year again, and despite the fact that I have two chemistry classes and a biomechanics class to pass, I'm still participating.

Even though I'm not really where I want to be, I'm still on track. This year is the first time I've written in first person since junior high school, and I'm finding it to be both easier and more difficult. Title: Relative to my Interests: A Memoir by Dina Sweeney nee Alexander. Dina is a woman who physiologically is 50 years old but chronologically is more like 3100. When she was thirteen, the relativistic drive in her father's starship BSOD'd in the middle of a jump, stranding them outside of time and space for a while. Her memoir details her trying to fit in with a galaxy that went on without her, dealing with the destruction of her home planet, and coming to terms with her animosity toward the beings responsible for most of the life in the galaxy.
