It's been a while since I made a 5 happy things post, mostly because of the hustle and bustle of moving.
(1) I went to the gym for the first time in a while. I'd forgotten how good the after-workout high feels. I'll be sure to get back to my twice-a-week routine again.
(2) As it turns out, OneNote is pretty much exactly what I was looking for when it comes to note-taking software. All you others can boo Microsoft all you want, once in a while they come up with something that works.
(3) My Microbiology class is much more biology-ish than the other biology classes I've taken here at Western. On Tuesday we took environmental samples. Today we get to swab them onto slides, heat-set them, stain them, and then use the oil-immersion lens to observe what's growing on the bottom of our feet. I'm looking forward to it.
(4) Something seems to have snapped in me that demands I keep my new apartment clean. This is a good thing. A very good thing.
(5) It's a gorgeous day outside. Brisk, and I'll be needing my jacket when I go back outside, but gorgeous. I think it's spring now.
