The Tale of Dumpling Boy and Skin Girl

There was once a little girl who was later known as "Skin Girl".
Skin Girl was a very sweet little girl and her parents loved her very much, she was kind, understanding, gentle, and thus very naive. One day she was playing up in her room, and she was aproached by a very old looking pelt. She screamed and ran away from the human-looking pelt, but it shouted for her to stop, it ment no harm it explained. She still threw a stuffed bear at it when it tried to go close though, that and she called it a monster.
It sniffled pathetically and hid in a corner, quietly sobbing to itself. Soon the darling girl felt sorry for the frightening pelt, so she walked over to it and pat it on the back reasuringly.
"There, there, I'm sorry I didn't meen to hurt your feelings"
The pelt calmed down and turned to face the little girl. It explained to her that it had no soul, and so it's body was rotting away. It said that it was afraid that soon it's body would turn to dust and it would disapear for ever.
Skin Girl was very sad for the pelt, and she said she was sorry it was missing a soul, even though she had no idea what one was.
The pelt thanked her, and after a moment asked her if she would lend it her soul, for only a few minutes of course... so it's body could refresh itself.
She foolishly believed it and so agreed to give up her soul, and soon she too was a soulless pelt, but she still looked like herself.
The once pelt now looked like a young boy, and he took her body and burned it in the front yard.
His new mother reprimanded him, asking him "How many times must I tell you not to make bon fires?". A year or so later his mother gave birth to a baby brother, and the once-pelt died (he was run over by a school bus).
In all this time, and many more years, the once-girl was slowly piecing her body back together;
It was made of tree-roots and mud, of worms and other organic things the earth would give her.
All the things underground would talk to her so she wouldn't go insane, but either way her kind naivette and gentleness disapeared.
Finally she had a body, so she desided to hunt down the monster that had stolen her soul (more or less) and right the injustice she had suffered.
She had no idea that the monster had died, and his brother (later known as Dumpling Boy) looked so much like him that she had thought HE was the pelt-monster.
She very meanly tricked (and threatened) him into fallowing her home, (at this point he had a fork shoved threw his ears) and he was very surprised when she lead him to HIS house.
He fallowed her until they reached the kitchen, and the next thing her knew she had skinned him alive and placed his soul in a bottle.
The potion she had used was only supposed to work on the monster, but since the monster was his brother it worked on Dumpling Boy as well, so he was still very much alive when he saw his now pelt of a body on the mirror.
He screamed at her that she was evil, and witch, and that she would be sent to a mental asylum and hung. And while he did this she rolled his body into dough and told him her story.
He didn't believe her because he remembered his childhood, and there were baby pictures of him, but he couldn't convince her other wise and soon he was being cut into dumpling skins.
Skin Girl now had a soul, so she was the little girl she was before, just aged and very cruel.
She made dumplings out of him, and also used his skin for skin on a cake she later fed to her class.
His last protest was muffled when she put the cover on the dumpling cooker, but when she came back he was still alive. Either way she fed the dumplings to her parents, and one was thrown out the window. Dumpling Boy woke up to find himself being spoken to by a bird, it was telling him about his older brother and how HE had been the one to steel Skin Girl's soul. Skin Girl overheard this and came outside to retrieve Dumpling Boy's last remaining skin that she sewed into a little hand she hung off her school bag. She told Dumpling Boy that she was sorry she mistook him for his brother, and when he asked if he could have his soul back she said; "Only a skin to each soul. No sharing. Sorry."
