Would anyone agree with me that, that's just wrong if not a little meen?:
Okay lookit. Daisuke may be done, but I'm not. And this is going to be the last time it's posted for all eyes. From now on, you got a problem, you email me personally with it. Don't bring it in the group, don't email Daisuke, because she'll just as soon drop you like a bad habit. So will, I, but only if you piss me off. This does benift everyone in the group though, and that is why it's being posted for the group. Since some of us have a problem with rules, and "getting yelled at," when they repeat a stupid mistake (I not saying the person is stupid, I'm saying the mistake is stupid, and we can all agree that is it, I believe), I've decided that it's time we have a few rules that will be on the bb on the top of the group. I don't want a repeat of this again, thank you very much. So, here are the rules.
1. Do not play another person's character in any way, shape, and/or form. You don't like it, we don't like it. In fact, don't really say too much about the other's character, and use as few descriptive words as possible so that the idea that you might be playing the other's character doesn't even come up. Also, please pay attention when you are in English Class. It teaches you how to properly word your sentencing so that we know exactly whom is being spoken about. We don't want any hurt feelings now.
2. Do not back talk to the mods. We are in charge, you are not. To be perfectly childish, this is our group and we are only sharing it with you. It does not belong to you anymore than my characters do. Don't scream at us, don't back talk, do not give us any lip. We have to power to throw you out on your ass and we will do it if you give us a reason to. I don't like being rebuked any more than the next person, but if you wanna play the game, you follow the rules.
3. No personal emails on the group other than those relating to the rpg. A la, Daisuke and I asking one another what we wanna do about our characters. Or planning a meeting between two or five of us to plan out the next move in the RPG. That is it. No. Personal. Emails. I hate this very much, and it drives me up the friggin wall. And if you have something to say to Daisuke and/or I, email one or both of us privately. Not on the rpg. A dispute has no place in a role playing game unless it is between the characters and not the people who play the characters. So after this email, my friend, if you still have a problem, you will email me. Privately at my home email address. It's not that hard to find.
There. Three rules. Not too much, not to little. You break them, you get a warning. Break them again, and your get a reprimand and threatend expulsion. Three times, and you're gone. I'm not putting up with it. The best groups seem to have some of the strictest mods, so guess what. It's time to get strict.
Oh, and contrary to what you believe, no we weren't all friends before we joined. I think the only person I really knew was Daisuke and that was because we were both part of another RPG where someone didn't like the way I played a character so I left to keep all THIS *guestures at the entire email* from happening. The rest joined for either seeing it, or knew Daisuke, or Sam a little. That's it. Now I hate rules, and I hate even more having to impose them, but I'm not going to deal with this again. From this email on, three shots and your out.
Now, to make this all fair because I just made these rules, everyone has a clean slate now. The next time a rule is broken, it will be the first warning.
Alright now that that's done. I don't want to read anything else on it. Ever. Unless it's in a private email to me. Now, I was not yelling at any one person in particular, so don't take the defensive on me. This is for EVERYone, because I'm not going to put up with it. So, to review:
Rules:
1. Don't play other characters other than your own
2. Don't back talk
3. No personal talking in the group other than that relating the the group.
Everyone gets a clean slate, don't break my rules, and I'll be happy, three strikes and you're out.
Got it? Good.
Kaoru
P.S. this is after I'm yelled at for "playing another persons character" (I rephrased "glares at the students to shut up" to "death glares"-.- and then was told it doesn't matter if I'm a member or not so if I don't like it I should just leeve)
