When I hear the word 'blood', I don't faint rather
I hear this kid's voice in my head.
This kid's hilarious. XD
I first saw this maybe a year ago, thanks to classmate JM who showed this to us one night
while we we're doing (or my group mates were, at least) the research paper for CommRes last year.
Check it out and you'd never hear the word 'blood' the same way ever again! XD

I finished watching
Bloody Monday finally and I wish I've seen it earlier so I would have known Miura Haruma earlier too!!!~ (Congratulations,
tumi18 ! Your pimping has paid off hehehe~!)
(Okay, this would have been a very spazzy post BUT my browser died on me and I wasn't able to save my entry, of course.)
Because I actually took some time to choose his handsome pictures and put them all together like this,
it might show you how much I have come to like him now. ^^
His beauty mark reminds me of Tablo. XD
Anyway... I'm really glad that I finally got to see Miura Haruma and realize how good an actor he is (and that he resembles PBB Teen Edition's Robi Domingo, hahahahaha!~ ) Now I can decide easily on which j-drama to watch next! My lovely friends Edcel, Tam, Anne, and Jen jie all donated to my j-drama stash to watch and with about 20 dramas to choose from, I've succeeded watching four as of the moment: Mei-chan no Shitsuji, Proposal Daisakusen, Ryusei no Kizuna and this. I'm thinking of watching Nodame Cantabile next cos I feel I must watch it, BUT... thanks to Miura Haruma, I'm defnitely watching Gokusen 3 first and Binbo Danshi next!!!~ I'm also very excited to watch his movie Koizora!!!~ And he's blond there!!!~ WAAAAAAAAAAH!!!~
Going back to Bloody Monday... it's really a good series. It kept me at the edge of my seat! It's a very thrilling story about Japan being attacked by terrorists and of course there is the very handsome genius hacker highschooler to save the day, hehe~ XD Though I feel the ending was cut quite short, I'm hopeful that there's gonna be a sequel to this. THERE SHOULD BE!

And now for the main reason why I wanted a blood-related post...
I finally knew my blood type! (I cheer. You do the weird face. Hehe.)
I've wanted to know my blood type for a while now since it was one of the most frequently asked questions back then when I was in Korea. It was like, "What's your name? What year were you born? What's your blood type?" And I can only answer two. The people I had talked with had to think quick of something else to ask.
I checked my birth certificate, my previous hospital records, my passport... I even donated blood more than once in hope that they'd tell me what my blood type is after I donate! But I was just given a cupcake and juice in exchange. XD
Why the interest in blood type, you ask? Well, the Japanese and Koreans believe that a person's blood type has got a lot to do with his or her personality, temperament and compatibility. Actually, it's originally the Japanese who thought about this and they call it ketsueki-gata (血液型). I'd spare you the origins of this 'belief' cos
you can look it up over here at Wikipedia. It's a Japanese thing, and of course, Koreans just have to follow in. XD
Anyway... So I didn't know my blood type back when I was in Korea, and some of my friends were guessing what blood type I could have.
- I was cutting my pork cutlet in strips and eating them as I cut, and one of my friends told me I could be a Type A.
- I am always in a happy state and seem to be always cheerful and get along well with others. Some other friends thought I was a Type O.
And I was really thinking that I could be a Type O. I wanted to have that blood type because according to them Koreans, it was the "better" blood type. And I didn't want to be Type B because that's the "bad" type. That's what they say! everybody saw
"My Boyfriend is Type B" movie with Lee Dong-gun and Han Ji-hye right?
Well, I got my medical check-up results today and my anticipation and excitement was finally put to an end.
I'm a type B! (take note of that, in case any of you would be needing a B donor, ok? ^^)
It's weird that for some 5 minutes I think, I was even disappointed at the result. I was wishing I'm an "O" but then I definitely am a "B". So I checked online what my blood type could say about my personality and this is what it says from this website called
"The Great Geek Manual" and
in this website too!~ You can check out yours there too!~
Type B:The Hunter
People with Type B Blood are curious about everything. That may be good, but they also tend to have too many interests and hobbies. They tend to get excited about something suddenly only to drop it again just as quickly. They seem to manage to know which of their many interests or loved ones are truly the most important. B Types tend to excel in things rather than just be average, but they tend to be so involved in their own world that they neglect other things. They have independent spirits with strong personalities. They have the image of being bright and cheerful, full of energy and enthusiasm, but some people think that they are really quite different on the inside. They also don’t really want to have much personal contact with others. While they don’t care what others think of them. They are extremely passionate about the things they hold dear. Type B’s are the individualists of the blood group categories and find their own way in life. Type B personalities can be curious, bright, cheerful, enthusiastic, independent, sensitive, and unpredictable. They can also be superficial, unreliable, selfish, unpredictable, indiscreet, lazy, and impatient.
- B is most compatible with B and AB.
^ The ones in bold are traits that I'm pretty sure I have and those in italics are those that I'm not so sure and am on the fence with. As for the others, I really don't know if I'm any of those yet.
I like taking personality assessment surveys and quizzes (thanks Facebook! XD) and my traits almost always match, same as this one.
I don't get what's so "bad" about those things mentioned above... but from what another website said (gawd, what do we do without internet?), "Type B men have acquired a very negative reputation in Korea and are not considered by many to be good husband material. Often described as ‘players’, they are perceived as being selfish and mercurial, quick to anger and not terribly reliable. That said, their bad boy image makes them very attractive to women, but not for the long term. (Type B women do not share in this bad rep, for some unexplained reason).".
So shall we take a look at the Korean boys we should be or rather, YOU (if you're not a type B) should be avoiding... I'm apparently, compatible with "B" types! Haha!~
- Kim Junsu
- Shim Changmin
- Kang Dong Won
- Hyun Bin
- Kim Jae Won
- Eric Mun
- Jo In Sung
- Koki Tanaka <---- not Korean, but I HAD to look him up too! hehe~
and for the ladies... I only had energy to look up these two:
Oha, oha! XD
But what is the big fuss on this blood type thing? It's not like our whole personality can be dictated by the type of blood we have. Just like with astrology and zodiac signs, It’s fine for fun, but it’s problematic if it makes people judge in wrong ways. Naks. Haha!
Finally, I can stop thinking about my blood type. Hee-hee.
