And that is not the bisaya version of Soshified, fyi. XD
And though I like 'Gee' and i can now match all SNSD girls' names to their faces, and though I think that Tiffany is really pretty... I'm still not a Soshi fan.
But anyway, not to go farther from what I'm trying to say, yeah... I had a Sushified Friday!
My dear unnie Felice and I haven't seen each other in ages and we thought it'd be awesome to try out Sakae Sushi's buffet in MOA while catching up on life. So I met her there and I was quite surprised that MOA is not so far as I thought it is! (One MRT ride plus one shuttle ride got me to MOA in a breeze!)
I've always wanted to go here and try out the conveyor belt sushi (it's not a type of sushi LOL.) because I think it's cool. Haha.
Starving at 2pm (we haven't had any real food throughout the day!) we were ready to fight and conquer the sushi world.
At first we were taking it slow with just one plate at a time, but after noticing that the conveyor belt sushi world is in fact, a competition amongst other hungry customers, with those nearer the area where the "sushi entrance" (where sushi comes out from the kitchen) getting first dibs on the sushi selection and getting of course the more delicious ones leaving the others seated farther with fewer choices. And how did we notice that? Because we were seated quite farther from where the fresh batch of sushi comes from and noticed that the same selection keeps on coming our way... I turned around and saw the "sushi factory" and saw that a group of hungry friends were hoarding the new batch of sushi that should have come our way. Argh. From then on, I knew it was war. Har har.
It was quite fun exhanging "oh no you didn't!" looks with the other customers whenever they would get a number of plates that should also have reached us. We even had a few good laughs on it! It indeed was competition, haha! And so I started praying that we'd finally get our turn to have the better ones and I even asked the waitress for menu updates haha!
Anyway, we fought a good battle and made our way to sushi heaven.
We actually ate more than a dozen kind but at some point I was too busy munching and forgot to take pix of the other sushi goodies we had.
I wanted to have more (gluttony is a sin, i know. But this is eat all you can buffet!!! Can't blame me!) but my "busog sensors" turned on and I just had to push that plate and rest my jaw from all those chewing exercises. I don't think I've eaten that much sushi ever. I don't think I'd be eating sushi forever. Okay scrap that. Maybe three months! Or heck, three weeks? XD
And after maybe about two hours, here's our platito tower~ Haha~
Sushified, it is!
Oh oh oh... my my favorite sushi is ika sushi (squid sushi, the white, chewy one ^^). What's yours?
