Worthwhile Waiting
He was so fucking bored. He was sucking on a lollipop which he had bought at the little coffeeshop near to where he was waiting. There was nothing he could do, but wait. One hour ago, he had tried to skate a bit, but an evil-looking police officer had told him that skating wasn't allowed at an airport. Even if he was fucking Bam Margera. And now the police officer was looking at him very carefully. Bam thought about starting a fight with him, but he probably would have ended up in jail and all the waiting would have been useless. He sighed. He got such an impatient nature. What else could he do...? He looked around and observed the other people waiting.
An old man was reading a newspaper, some young women with big suitcases were talking about their latest shopping trips and important-looking men with document-cases were talking into their mobile phones. What could they be waiting for?
Suddenly the little baby of the woman who sat beside him started to cry very loudly. The woman tried to calm it down, but it didn't work. As if he wasn't annoyed enough. The woman looked at him with an apologizing glance. How hard it had to be to have children...He stood up and walked around. He wished he could light up a cigarette, but he could still feel the officers' watchful eye staring at him. He sighed again and looked at the big watch on the wall. He shouldn't have done that, because now he was really pissed off. Three hours of waiting. He couldn't believe it. He hoped that there was a really important cause for the lateness or somebody would be dead. He already knew who that somebody would be. Somebody who had turned his mobile phone off...
But suddenly he saw a tall man with a black cap, converse shoes, a black jacket and beautiful green eyes who carried an heavy suitcase. The man looked at him and smiled like an angel. Bam forgot all his anger and smiled back.
When Ville came nearer, he started to apologize.
"Hey Bammie...Listen, I'm so sorry...I missed the first flight because something was wrong with the tourbus. We had to stop in the middle of nowhere to fix it and it took us half an hour to repair it! I had to take the next plane. I wanted to call you, but the battery of my mobile phone was empty..."
Bam grinned. How could he have been mad at this guy? "Shut up, you lil' bastard."
He hugged Ville and smelled the scent of his hair and his perfume. Ville was relieved and smiled. He knew very well how impatient Bam was.
"It's good to see you again. I missed you."
Bam smiled. "I missed you too, Sweetheart."
Moments like this were worth waiting three hours.
