More importantly... AHH! I got the keys to my new apartment today!!!
I'm really excited. I feel like I need to tell the entire world, even though the world couldn't care less. I'm slowly moving my junk in and buying new junk to bring along. I'll probably make an Ikea trip sometime soon to get some cheap stuff... like silverware. Also, Brandon (my roommate) informed me today that he will be bringing an air hockey table. I don't know why he has one, but I'm pretty stoked. I've wanted one of those things since I was a little kid. So if it means we don't have a table to eat on, so be it. We'll slap a piece of plywood on top of the air hockey table and eat on that. That's what college is supposed to be like, right?
So other than the new place, not much else is going on. I still don't have a job, despite my best efforts. And I read today that unemployment in Philadelphia is up to 12% now... so I'm not the only one, apparently. Not that I count in that percentage, seeing as I'm a full-time student. So really it must be much higher. But in any case, I'm still handing in as many applications as I can and keeping my hopes up. Someone has to get fired sometime... and I'll be there to take that person's place. Woo!
