Happy New Years~!
I have a little less than two weeks back here in Georgia. Hm... It's going by really fast, Christmas and New Years and such. It's the new year now but eh... I dunno. Will it be a better year or a worse year? Or maybe it will be just the same. I'd have to say this past year was one of the hardest ones yet. A lot of realizations about people in general.
But Christmas was teh awesome! First of all was out 13 foot tall tree that was just amazing to look at. I never got a picture of it, which is a shame... Anyways, my dad made kickass food; oysters bienville, bananas foster, and such. I got loads of presents from Mr. Claus. Third season of 24, some Harvey Birdman Attorney at Law DVDs, Memento, Se7en, Naruto manga, few books, stuff like that. I also got an cherry-wood hour glass, 30 minutes, and it's amazing. For the past week I've been reveling in my various gifts. In fact I spent the past 3 days allotting 28 hours onto .hack//G.U.. That's gotta be a record for gameplay...
Though, I spent most of yesterday watching The Twilight Zone and will probably maintain the trend throughout New Years Day it was a rather boring New Years Eve... Everyone was doing their own thing so I just ate Wendy's and sat home watching The Twilight Zone (I set off some fireworks with the neighbors, too, but nothing too extravagant). So I sat there and sat there until 11:59:50 when I watched the ball drop and sipped my champagne alone in the living room. Hm... I suppose that sounds a little depressing but maybe I like it better that way. Ever since I've gotten back I haven't really gone out of my way to call many people, perhaps because I get the vibe that they'd rather do other stuff than hang out with me. Meh...
Everyone here goes back to school on the 7th I think? So there isn't much time to hang out with people. What a drag... If anyone here in Georgia wants to hang out before I go back to Louisiana or whatever call me or leave a comment or something.
