Yesterday I had a pretty damn good day, and it’s possibly the best time I’ve had in quite some time. It involved combining two of my favourite things: spending time with the boyfriend and shopping. Despite going out for over two years me and Mark never really do normal couple stuff together, so it was a nice change and I had a really good day.
We got the train into Glasgow and headed straight for Fopp. I love Fopp, I’m so glad HMV were sensible enough to re open a few stores. Anyways I got to see Mark in all his geekyness, it was quite cute and a bit worrying at the same time. We spent a while in there and I ended up buying Little Miss Sunshine, Brokeback Mountain, Requiem for a Dream and The Last King of Scotland. All for only £23, bargain much? Mark also bought me a book I’ve been wanting for a while, Belle de Jour: the intimate adventures of a London call girl. I think we went to Forbidden Planet next for a comic Mark was looking for, which they never had. Then we went to Virgin to look at more DVDs, yes more DVDs. Mark got far too excited about the 5 for £30 and I eventually had to convince him not to buy about 15 DVDs because it was just madness. My memory is pretty poor but I’m fairly certain we went to Cult next, then Topman where Mark got a sexy t shirt and zipper then to Superdrug where I bought make up that I don’t really need. I’m really loving Revlon’s limited edition collection, it’s pretty sexy. My feet were hurting so mark took me for coffee, Café Nero not Starbucks since he has some sort of aversion to that store. Finally headed home about sixish and back to my house to “watch a DVD”.
Mark left and I watched some TV with my mum. I went upstairs about 12ish and watched Brokeback Mountain and read some of my book.
I can't be bothered writing anymore, so I'm off to watch Little Miss Sunshine.
