I'm gonna totally rip this idea off from
dis_closed and create an intro post. ;D
Mind you, I'm bored out of my skull. It might not be interesting at all. I shall put it all under a cut so you won't be obliged to read it. Alrighty?
Okaayyysss. I shall start now.
I'll start with the fundamentals. Of me. xD
My real name is stupid and I don't like it, so I think I'll just go by J or something from now on. It's simple and stuffs. I was thinking to put Jay, but that made me uncomfortable because it's a guy's name (as far as I know) and plus that's my brother's name. xD
My age is insignificant. I'll just tell you that I'm a moody, bratty adolescent and that I just got a cell phone. That should tell you truckloads.
Just saying where I live would make you go do something stimulating, it's so boring. I like places where it rains a lot, and big, sprawling cities that are always busy. The Canadian prairies are quite the opposite from all that. I'm gonna run away once I am...authorized to. xD
If you scour you might find a picture of me somewhere on LJ. I made the mistake of doing that. If you're curious as to where, NO HINTS. Rawr.
So I have a list of my favourite bands and such in my profile page, but I couldn't ask you to go all the way over there and look, nope I can't. So I'll just list a few right now: muse, linkin park, dashboard confessional, frou frou, imogen heap, tokio hotel, 30 seconds to mars, the arctic monkeys, sum41, onerepublic, queen, feist, paramore, green day, radiohead, the offspring, 3 doors down, hedley, PANIC! at the disco, jack's mannequin, death cab for cutie, the postal service, the used, and so on and so forth.
I read too much for my own good, or so my mother says. (Is that even possible?) Anyway some of my favourite all-timers include Little Women, the His Dark Materials trilogy, Inheritance series (though the movie SUCCKEDDDDD), Deception Point, The Host, Heidi, Alex Rider series, etc etc. I don't do classics for some reason, I tried reading some but it bored me to death. Like Pride & Prejudice, Jane Eyre, you know. I read a condensed version of Jane Eyre and I loved it, so maybe I'll try reading them again sometime. I dunno. Also I want to read Catcher In the Rye. xD Oh, and of course I can't leave out Calvin and Hobbes. A comic strip, but still. It's genius.
I don't watch TV too much nowadays, but I have to watch House. And Iron Chef America. CSI: Miami or NY isn't too bad, either. Oh, and my new obsession, The Next Food Network Star. It's INTENSE. \o/
More to come. Cuz I have to go now. xD
