(no subject)
What a lazy day. I slept till 11 and have done nothing productive since. I did make Valentines and cupcakes for the bake sale on Monday, though.
So I was thinking about the "Merry Old Land of Oz" song from Wizard, I don't know the formal name of it. The lyrics go something like, "we get up at noon and start to work at one / take an hour for lunch and then at two we're done" I reeeaaally wish that was my life. Instead I get up at six, get home from school somewhere between three and six, veg for an hour, then work until 11:30 or so before getting to bed. I'm the last one to go to bed and the first one to get up every morning. It's getting kinda old.
Okay, sorry for the complain-fest. I need to get a life.
I was talking to Amanda before as I was making my Valentines and we were remembering the good old days when Valentine's Day was decorating shoeboxes with hearts and writing out thirty paper cards with pictures of the Rugrats on them. Now it's like a contest to see who can get the most flowers. So depressing.
