Eventful Day of Unevents

Dec 08, 2004 02:13

well, today began with the same drudgery, the shuttle journey to the death star.

Unevent 1- Trooper T (Tony) missed the shuttle and had to get a lift in cause he had a test that he couldn't be late for, so got in on time he didn't miss the test. pretty uneventful.

Unevent 2- Film class, the emperor tried to indoctranate us with yet more poncey French cinema, Hiroshima Mon Amour , deals with issues of memory, history, responsibility to learn from mistakes and thereby create a more hopefull future. oh for joy. the film and ensuing lecture past without incident. not a bad film i thought, kinda uneventful though.

Unevent 3- Pactical Drama presentation preparation, i showed up, i discussed, the rest of the group explained, we left. uneventastic.

Unevent 4- lunch, a trip to the centra provided me with a sweet chili chicken roll, which i ate. feeling tired i rested my head on Elaine's shoulder, and we waited for Vader to arive to begin the next class.

unevent 5- a series of presentations on community drama field work. mine passed without any notable occurence. the class rounded off with a video which we gave up watching and left 10 mins early.

unevent 6- met Vader on the way out, who now was fully aware we'd just skipped out early. he didn't seem to care.

unevent 7- a sereis of text messages clarified that while both elaine and myself didn't find eachother entirely unworthy of romantic consideration niether of us were either looking for a partner or particularly interested in each other. thus we concluded to carry on regardless of apparently nothing. unevent of the century.

Unevent8- having turned down invites to both the limer and ownies i concluded that i had beer at home and no need to add to it, bar smoke and excess people who i didn't feel like seeing anyway, i therefore decided to do nothing.... with beer. Lucy elected to join me and together we boycotted an evening of anything in particular in favour of my now well established point... an UNEVENTFUL night in.

i would say "shoot me now" but seeing as how i appear to be on a roll here, anyone willing to facilitate such a request would more than likely miss, leading to some less than spectacular concequence, which certainly wouldn't include any change of my current UNEVENTFUL state!!!

quote- "Uh...had a slight weapons malfunction. But, uh,
everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here,
now, thank you. How are you?" -Han Solo, (after trying (unsuccessfully/uneventfully)to shoot me)
